These items are plug and play: we have modified them with powerpole connectors so that you can mount them on a wall flat without having to hardwire. Plugs into a regular outlet.
The base of the sconce attaches to a metal mounting plate, which must be screwed into the wall. Wires can be passed through a 3/4″ diameter hole. Please do not cut or modify the wiring. Please see additional photos to determine how you will mount them for your use.

Our sconces are modified to plug directly into an outlet, and do not require hardwiring. Please do not cut or alter the wiring.
